Wellington Curtis is the Founding Pastor and Teacher of Silver Blue Lakes Missionary Baptist Church, Inc., a native of West Palm Beach, FL., a descendent of Turks & Caicos Island, Bahamian immigrant’s migrant workers and African American, Wrens GA., whose vision is to spread the Gospel, Love, and Compassion of Jesus, our Messiah through the ministry of Evangelism. His passion is to ensure that people from all walks of life are given the opportunity to experience the fullness and presence of Almighty God with their individual gifts and talentHis objectives are to occupy the pastoral office in ministry to bring the lost to Jesus our Messiah, and to build up and encourage those who are of the household of faith. Curtis’ goal is to reach the lost globally for the cause of Jesus, the Messiah! Curtis wants you to be a part of what God is doing through this world-wide vision.

Curtis’ academic achievement includes Miami Jackson High (1970), Miami Dade Community College (1983), and Bachelor of Public Administration, Barry University (2007). Curtis is happily married to Martha Pinder and is the proud father of four handsome sons and a grandfather of 6. He is a family oriented person while still having the flexibility to share the gospel, preaching and teaching to all who would listen.” His expository and exegesis’ homilies are exceptional. Curtis has been preaching since the age of twenty two (22), an ordained deacon in churches, praise teams, and was a founding member,Guitarist and Lead Soloist of the Chosen Few, Freeport, Grand Bahama (1974), and former member of the Six Trumpets, Miami, FL Guitarist (1969)under the leadership of the late Curtis McCoy. Listeners are often amazed at how God is using Curtis through his simple and pure yet riveting and inspiring voice. Wellington, as he’s favorably called by many has a voice that is often described as therapeutic, anointed, solemn but authoritative and powerfulCurtis’ influences came mostly from Dr. Billy Graham, the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the late Rev. Dr. Charles Smith, Cat Island, Bahamas, and his father-in-law, the late Rev.
